Kerri is the Co-Chair of the TASA School Facilities Committee and was recently appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas School Safety Center Board and is the first architect to serve on the board. The board reports to the Governor, the legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Texas Education Agency regarding school safety and security. Kerri will also give a glimpse into the process that created the school facilities standards now in place as well as the role that charters will play in future facilities planning.
