The Texas Public Charter Schools Association (TPCSA) is the leading voice for Texas charter school leaders, parents, and students. High-quality charter schools serve an essential purpose in public education, offering a variety of educational models and achieving impressive outcomes for more than 300,000 students in Texas, including some of the state’s most underserved students.
At TPCSA, our core mission is to protect the Texas charter school community’s ability to grow and innovate free from red tape that would make it harder for schools to educate students according to their missions. Through a robust advocacy and communications effort, we fight for fair treatment of charter schools and charter school students and ensure that policymakers have the facts and resources to understand how laws and regulations impact charter schools. We also equip charter school leaders, teachers, and parents with the knowledge they need to advocate for their own schools and students.
TCSA is an advocacy leader and effective partner. With the power of our 760 member schools behind us, policymakers in Austin and in communities throughout Texas know that we speak for the charter school movement.
