On a wall of the University of Texas medical center, just a few blocks from the Capitol, there’s a striking piece of art. It’s an image of a mighty oak tree — deep roots glowing, limbs reaching into a radiant yellow sky.

That image is formed by hundreds of tiles, each a gleaming bit of color, that are joined together just so. And it’s the perfect encapsulation of what we just accomplished together.

We joined together to paint a brighter future.

At TPCSA, our job is to win in Austin — to achieve lasting policy change that helps the public education system deliver for more children. I’m incredibly proud to share that with the help of passionate advocates statewide, we succeeded during the 88th Legislative Session in 2023 and throughout the past year.
