Guest Blog: Legacy Preparatory Charter's Project Based Learning Institute 2017

January 19, 2017

In an effort to invite others to join us in the vision of developing innovative citizens ready to serve and transform our global society, Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy School District is proud to partner with the Buck Institute for Education (BIE) to bring Project Based Learning to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Opportunities for you and your team are available at all levels:
• PBL 101 Gold Standard Workshop for all level classroom educators;
• Leadership Academy for Administrators; and
• 201 Workshops for PBL 101 veterans.

With 25 years in the education industry, BIE continues to be one of the leading organizations promoting high quality Project Based Learning (PBL). BIE helps bring coherence to PBL practices across grade levels and subject areas, and supports the focus on how to design, assess, and manage projects that engage and motivate students, and how to systematically build and support district and school initiatives.

Why take the leap into PBL? PBL provides opportunities for students from all backgrounds to engage in deeper, meaningful learning, build success skills in preparation for college, career or life and connect with their community all while connecting their learning experiences directly linked to state standards.

Be sure to join us to jump start or refine your PBL journey!
