Searching for training options for your board members, officers, campus administrators, teachers and finance managers? The Texas Charter Schools Association (TCSA) created a new repository to store content specifically designed for Texas charter schools. The Learning Zone is a marketplace to help you meet all of the §19 TAC 100 training requirements established by the Texas Education Agency. If you prefer in-person events, trainings are available for board of directors and officers on March 3, April 1, and April 28, 2016. A Finance Bootcamp has been scheduled for April 13-15 in Austin to assist business managers and new leaders in creating policies and procedures to account for all expenditures. A Teacher Summit will also be offered this summer in three locations to help build instructional effectiveness, so stay tuned for dates and training locations.
Prefer to watch taped training events or webinars? Your charter school team can elect to watch these events on-demand, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. There are currently 24 courses available as on-demand courses. This training option allows charter school leaders to start and stop, or review content as needed in the midst of competing demands.
Do you have questions on specific topics? A webinar series will be available where charter school leaders ask questions and receive answers to help guide your work. The webinars will generally be held the third Thursday of each month from 12 noon to 1 p.m. If you cannot participate in a webinar due to scheduling conflicts, the content will be placed into an on-demand course available at a later time.

You will need to set up an account to register for a course. This login will be used to track your course and training completion and allow you to print certificates once an event is completed.
