The Round Rock Express is seeking to expand its educational tours to public charters in the Austin area. The Triple-A baseball team already conducts tours for traditional public schools in the area.

Chaniel Nelson, an account executive with the team, listed many opportunities, including:

1. Stadium Tours: Stadium tours are catered to what each teacher/group leader/admin would like to cover. Many things we do here at the Express are in house. Our marketing, sales, business operations, catering, stadium operations, events, turf company. The list goes on! The tours always include a free ticket to a future game for each participant. We can even serve lunch.

2. Fundraising: Choose a name night, invite friends, teachers, families and supporters out to the game and a portion of each ticket sold goes back to the school/school program.

3. Performances: We have had school choirs, bands, dancers, cheerleaders, even a Karate studio perform at our game. Any interest to do something unique we are open to.

4. Overnights: Project Graduation can be an expensive gathering for school seniors. Having it at Dell Diamond on a game night could be a great and economical alternative. We have partnerships with hundreds of local entertainment/food companies to make planning much easier for volunteers.

5. Education Day: Education Day is an annual event to get students out of the classroom and in a fun environment. We have college recruiters, educational presentations, education packets etc. for grades k-12. 2019 Date is TBA.

6. Outings: We can help plan outings, banquets, meetings, appreciation nights for your teachers and volunteers. All on a game night or year round. The Express does have a general Teacher Appreciation Night for everyone in the field of Education on June 14th. Just type in the code EDUCATORS at check out to receive a discount for that night.
